Eric Blohm
Eric Blohm has been playing drums in one form or another since 4th grade. He played throughout school in various stage bands, ensembles, marching bands, etc. It was during his junior year in high school when his parents bought a piano for his sister to take lessons. She did, for about 3 months, and Eric soon commandeered the piano, moving it to his bedroom and beginning to teach himself chords, scales and so on. After many years of playing in bar bands, Eric decided to focus on writing and recording, figuring that after all this time, he should see if he had a voice of his own, musically. He purchased a PC for recording and a number of instruments, mainly acoustic and electronic drums and keyboards. Having been a huge fan of New Age, Soundtrack and World music for a long time, Eric hoped his music would be a reflection of that. As a one-man studio project, Eric is currently working on a full-length CD of original music to be titled "Bridge The Distance." The title refers to the process of visualizing your dreams, then building a bridge to reach them. In this day and age when the music of all cultures is so readily available to everyone who would listen, Eric seeks only to add his own voice to this wondrous musical universe.
